Michael has over 40 years of experience in sales, marketing and management both domestically and internationally. He has experience in all levels of organizational development, implementation and management and has successfully served in the positions of COB, CEO, COO, Director and Manager. Having served a number of years in the oil industry, Michael understands the importance of safety, accountability, traceability and service on all levels. He has a reputation of untiring and dedicated service and his customer service ability is renowned. Michael first recognized the barrier business potentials in 1995 and has successfully positioned it from a rudimentary product with limited application through development, testing and use to the refined and commercially acceptable system in use by some of the largest municipalities and contractors in the United States. Michael has served as CEO of the parent firm WaterFilled Barriers Systems, Inc. since it’s inception in May of 1997.
Vickie Angenend
Co-Founder, Vice President
Vickie has over 25 years of experience in Management and Human Resources. She has her SPHR Certification and has extensive experience in the start up branch facilities both U.S. and foreign. She began her career as the purchasing/ office manager in a start up company that grew into a Fortune 500 company. As Director of another Fortune 100 company she was responsible for the facilities, recruitment, selection, negotiation, hiring and training of all personnel, including management, engineering, client services, programming, administration and retail personnel. Her other significant responsibilities included benefits, wage and salary administration, performance appraisal programs, policy formulation and administration, employee recognition programs, and payroll processing. She assisted with corporate strategic planning and implementation and directed the efforts of the administrative and maintenance personnel. Vickie has served as the Executive Vice President and directed the growth of the company’s distribution arm since it’s inception in May of 1997.
Jennifer Angenend
Director, Sales and Marketing
Jennifer joined team in 2005 as Director of Sales and Marketing for WaterFilled Barrier Systems and opened the Austin, TX office of the company. She is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and has extensive experience in retail, personal, corporate, and government sales and marketing in a variety of industries. Jennifer has been a strong addition to the team and brings fresh insight and a great deal of talent to the sales and marketing division of the company.
